'A Secretary Hand ABC Book' by Alf Ison

This book is a handy guide to “secretary hand” (a style of European handwriting developed in the early sixteenth century that remained common in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries for writing English, German, Welsh and Gaelic) the book includes illustrations of characters from A to Z, common abbreviations, numbers, nursery rhymes and some transcripts of wills dated from the 16th century to the 18th century.
